Stephen studied architecture at the University of Texas, finishing in the top three percent of his class, then went on to Building Construction & Engineering at John Brown University. That schooling shapes how he reads a house — loads, water, sequence, and proportion.
The rest he learned with tools in his hands. Years across Texas doing carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, sheetrock, full remodels, and structural repair taught him what actually holds up over decades, and what only looks good on the day of the final walkthrough.
He moved his family here to be part of a community rather than pass through one. A home is the largest investment most people ever make, and it's also where they go to be at peace. Protecting both is the whole job.
